As blood flows from my razored mind into two and then a near-infinite number of vessels, my veins crackle with transcendent emptiness. Blackness shimmers against the horizon in auroral ebbs and flows in time with my labored, searing breaths. Freed from the bonds of singular, ever-rotting flesh, I become nearly as numberless as the blind worms that wriggle and feast upon my discarded corporeal husk.
